ER-10: General Epoxy Resin

Product Description

ER-10  is a single phase resin system that is designed for applications where high modulus and low cost are important.   ER-10 resin system works well on all fiberglass, carbon, and Kevlar reinforcements.

Processing

Mix resin and hardener thoroughly at specified ratio.  Resin can be heated slightly to lower viscosity.  Do not expose resin or hardener

to excessive moisture conditions until fully cured.  Post-cure resin to 180oF to achieve maximum cure and composite strength.  In cases

of free standing post-cures, the part should be heated slowly

(20-30oF per 30 minute steps) to prevent warpage.

Applications

Snowboards

Skis

Molding applications that use heat to help assist

   fiber wetout

Chemical resistant coatings

 Hardeners

EH-101, 102, 103 or 104 laminating hardeners

If application requires high delamination resistance, two phase ‘DR’ series resins should be considered.
